EVP / Head of Relationship Banking
Frank Abraham was promoted to the position of EVP/Head of Relationship Banking in May 2017. All Regional Managers report to Frank. He joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in February 2017 as Senior Vice President, Interim Regional Manager at PMB's Beverly Hills Financial Center. Frank's banking career began with Bank of America where he steadily progressed over 30 years to increased responsibilities in credit, treasury management, global trade, and commercial banking. His market experience ranges from Los Angeles, Dallas, and San Francisco to London and Berlin.
Newport Beach Regional Manager
Ross Macdonald, SVP, became Regional Manager for Newport Beach in April 2018, after 4 years as Regional Manager of Irvine Spectrum. Ross joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in 2014, following 15 years in commercial banking with national and community banks in the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. markets. Ross has extensive experience working on complex commercial finance and cash management solutions for a wide array of industries, including health care, manufacturing, professional services, contract-based services, government contracting, nonprofit, technology, and others.
Century City Regional Manager
Douglas Spencer, SVP, leads the Bank’s Century City Office. He joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in July 2017 to manage the Costa Mesa Office. Doug’s banking career spans over 30 years, beginning as a management trainee and steadily progressing through positions of greater responsibility, including CEO of Centennial First Financial Services, EVP/Branch Administrator with Pacific Mercantile Bank, and a decade as CEO of Gilmore Bank. Most recently, Doug was CEO of a luxury ground transportation company, thus enhancing his appreciation for the businesses he will be helping succeed at Pacific Mercantile Bank.
Marcelo D. Mills
Irvine Spectrum Regional Manager
Marcelo D. Mills, SVP, joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in May 2018 and manages the Irvine Regional Office. A dedicated commercial banker, Marcelo was VP/Senior Relationship Manager for Community Bank in Irvine prior to joining Pacific Mercantile. Earlier in his career, Marcelo had business banking responsibilities with First Citizens Bank and Chase Bank. Marcelo is very active in serving his local community through various philanthropic organizations with multiple board and committee positions. His core competencies include C&I, Commercial Real Estate Lending, Deposits and Treasury Management.
Costa Mesa Regional Manager
Chad Kenney, SVP, joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in December 2017 and serves as the Regional Manager of the Bank’s Costa Mesa office. Over his 15-year banking career, Chad has had extensive experience helping banks expand operating company relationships in industries including manufacturing, distribution, professional services, non-profit, and others. His creativity and experience in other regions across the U.S. make him a strong value-added partner for helping companies thrive in Southern California.
Dawn F. Stille
La Habra Regional Manager
Dawn F. Stille, SVP, joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in April of 2002 and currently serves as the Manager of the Bank’s La Habra Office. Dawn has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Formerly with Landmark Bank, Dawn served in various management positions over a 16-year period. Dawn has been a long-time La Habra resident.
Ontario Regional Manager
Mark Martinez, SVP, leads the Bank’s Ontario Regional Office, having joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in November 2015 as Senior Relationship Manager in Ontario. Mark has over 25 years of commercial business banking experience in Southern California, having served in senior positions with other regional banks including Pacific Premier Bank, Independence Bank and Grandpoint Bank. Mark and his family have lived in the Inland Empire for 23 years.
San Diego Regional Manager
Lisa Wright, SVP, joined Pacific Mercantile Bank in 2018 and manages the San Diego Regional Office. Lisa is a San Diego career banker with over 25 years of experience in commercial banking. She has held leadership positions at a variety of financial institutions in the San Diego Region, including Bank of America, San Diego National Bank and most recently City National Bank. Lisa is a long time La Jolla resident, knows the San Diego market well, and is passionate about working with companies to help them achieve their goals.
