Online Banking Questions
I currently use Online Banking and Bill Pay. Will I still have access to these services?
During the conversion weekend of September 11th through September 13th, you will
not be able to process transactions through our Online Banking services.
Beginning September 14th, you will access our new Online Banking and Cash Management
systems the same way you do today. The Bill Pay System will be upgraded and will
also include Bill Presentment.
Will my Login ID for consumer banking change?
No. Your logon ID will remain the same. However, it will be necessary to login using
all lower case characters.
Will my Login ID for Cash Management Change?
Your login will be changing. You will be contacted by a Pacific Mercantile Bank
Representative prior to conversion.
Will my payees, recurring and scheduled payments in Bill Pay convert?
Pacific Mercantile Bank is working diligently to convert all payees, recurring payments
and pending payments. However, we ask that you print a current list of payees, pending
and recurring payments prior to 5pm on September 11th and compare that list to what
is converted on September 14th.
How can I prepare?
Your history in Online Banking and Bill Pay will not convert. We encourage you to
print any screens that you may find necessary before conversion. More information
will be provided on our website and Cash Management customers will be contacted
in the coming weeks.
Will I still be able to use Quicken®, QuickBooks® and Microsoft Money on the upgraded
Cash Management System?
Quicken and QuickBooks will be available on the new system. However, Microsoft Money
is being discontinued by Microsoft and therefore will not be available on the new
system.
Over conversion weekend, September 11-13, you will be able to download your transactions
through September 11th. Please complete this download on or before September 13th.
