How secure is online banking?
The Internet Banking System brings together a combination of industry- approved
security technologies to deliver a product that keeps your financial information
secure. It features password-controlled system entry, a Digital ID, Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) protocol, and a firewall to regulate the inflow and outflow of server
traffic.

What accounts may I view?
Checking, savings, CD balances and loan balances are accessible through our web
site. You must have at least one checking or money market account to access your
accounts online.
Can I use this service with Microsoft® Money or Intuit Quicken®?
Yes, data can be transferred into Quicken or Money. This will save you time by eliminating
the manual entry step. As an added feature, we offer Bill Pay service.
When do I need to schedule my bill payments?
Bill Payments should be scheduled to allow 5 business days prior to the due date
of your bill. All bills submitted after 3:00 PM (PST) will be posted on the next
business day. Electronic bills will be processed within 3 business days of posting.
Some companies you pay through online banking are not set up for electronic payment
and therefore receive a paper draft on your behalf. These paper draft payments take
5-8 business days to reach their payees.

I am not close to a branch, how do I make deposits?
Deposits can be made in one of five ways:
- You can have your payroll check direct deposited into your Pacific Mercantile Bank
account. Speak with your payroll department for instructions and forms.
- You can mail your deposit (with a deposit slip) to:

For your convenience, we provide you with prepaid stamped envelopes.
- You can ask us in writing to debit your account at another bank through the Automated
Clearing House or ACH system. The first time you request this, you'll need to fill
out a brief form and provide a voided check. After that, simply fax your request
to 714-438-1059.
- You can wire money directly from another bank.
- You can visit us at our Financial Centers and either make your deposit at the Pacific
Mercantile Bank ATM or make your deposit in person in the branch.
How Can I Withdraw Money?
You can withdraw money from any Cirrus, PLUS and VISA ATM's.
Do you offer Credit Cards?
Pacific Mercantile Bank offers Credit Cards to pre-approved checking account customers.
